I love the temple
Have you ever had one of those weeks where you just feel inadequate? I felt that way for a good portion of this week. Since I've been here, I have loved being able to go to the temple basically whenever I want to. Every time I step inside I feel calm, safe, and happy. There is no place in the world that feels quite the same as the temple. One of my favorite parts about the temple is that I get to reflect on my life with no outside distractions. This gives me the opportunity to re-evaluate my values and to feel the Spirit. In the temple I have had some of the most meaningful prayers of my life. When I pray, I can feel that Heavenly Father loves me. I feel like I am a child of God. I know that I'm a child of God. I have never been close to perfect, but I know that I want to do everything I can to live with my family in the presence of God once again. I love the Savior and I am so thankful for the sacred sacrifice he made for me and for you. In other words, going to the temple today gave me the lift that I needed to get things back in order. I no longer feel inadequate and school feels like something that I can tackle head-on now. I love the temple.
